Blog of the retrospective
The retrospective is the Scrum closing ceremony of the Sprint which is held just after the Sprint Review. It’s often advisable to make a format of at least one hour so that it’s neither too long in the eyes of the participants nor too short to benefit from feedbacks and axis of improvement.
This ceremony is animated by the Scrum Master which asks the whole team including the Product Owner to be present. It also aims to work on two main axes: continuous improvement and the health of the team.
According to the scrum guide
According to the “scrum guide”, the retrospective must last a maximum of 3 hours for a sprint of 4 weeks; teams will be able to lower this timebox for shorter sprints.
